Terms and Conditions

 

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Standard Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the contractual relationship between Floor Sanding and Polishing ltd, hereafter referred to as “we,” “our,” or “us,” and the customer, hereafter referred to as “you” or “your,” in connection with the floor sanding and polishing services provided by us. By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our services.

 

2. Services Offered

We provide floor restoration services, including but not limited to sanding, refinishing, staining, and coating of hardwood, tile, or other flooring types as specified in the service agreement. The scope of work, pricing, and any additional terms will be detailed in a separate service agreement or proposal.

 

3. Quotations and Pricing

a. We will provide you with a detailed quotation for the proposed services, including a breakdown of costs, materials, and labor charges. Quotations are valid for a specified period and are subject to change if the scope of work or project requirements change.

b. Additional costs may be incurred for services not initially included in the quotation. Any changes to the scope of work will be documented and agreed upon in writing before implementation.

 

4. Payment Terms

a. Payment terms and schedules will be outlined in the service agreement or quotation. Payment is required in no more that 10 days after completing the works, with an initial deposit required before work commences.

b. Late payments may be subject to interest charges as specified in the service agreement or as allowed by applicable laws.

 

5. Cancellations and Rescheduling

a. You may cancel or reschedule services as long as you provide reasonable notice to us (at least 72 hours before the service is reasonable notice). Any costs incurred due to cancellations or rescheduling may be your responsibility.

b. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule services due to unforeseen circumstances, such as weather conditions (when the works are done outside) or equipment failure. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of any such changes.

 

6. Access and Preparation

a. You are responsible for ensuring that the work area is clear of any obstacles and that we have safe and unobstructed access to the flooring to be serviced.

b. It is your responsibility to remove or protect any personal belongings, furniture, or fixtures from the work area. We are not liable for any damage to items left in the work area.

 

7. Workmanship and Warranty

a. We warrant that our services will be performed in a professional and workmanlike manner. Any defects or issues with our work must be reported on the day of completion the works.

b. Our service does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, or changes to the flooring after our services are complete.

 

8. Liability and Insurance

a. We carry liability insurance to cover damages caused by our negligence. However, we are not liable for damages that are beyond our control or that result from pre-existing conditions in the flooring.

b. You are responsible for ensuring that your property insurance adequately covers the services provided by us.

 

9. Termination

Either party may terminate the service agreement in writing if the other party breaches a material term of these Terms or the service agreement. Termination does not relieve you of your obligation to pay for services rendered. Please note that if the service is cancelled by “you” in less than 72 hours, “we” have the right the keep the deposit payment due to lost business.

 

10. Deposit payment

Prior to starting any work over £600.00 we do request 30% deposit payment. Please note that if the works are cancelled by customer 72 hours prior to starting the deposit is refundable. In case that the works are cancelled in less than 72 hours prior to starting the deposit payment is non refundable.

 

11. Entire Agreement

These Terms, along with any additional written service agreements or proposals, constitute the entire agreement between you and us with respect to the floor sanding and polishing services.

Customer is required to read and understand the term and condition before commencing any works with us.
